The Cassino family believes that Lynn Cassino has been injured in several ways from 2 shots of Pfizer vaccine that doctors and/or nurse practitioners for Bloom Healthcare demanded he take in February and March 2021 to continue to have caregivers come to his home 7 days a week 2 shifts am and pm from ComeForCare in Lakewood, Colorado. On Thursday, November 11th, 2021 he was hospitalized at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado with an oxygen level of 70 and with a blood clot on his lung (pulmonary embolism), and growths on his thyroid. Since then they have found a lump in his stomach that they have done a CT scan on and are awaiting results. He has been told that he should have an operation on the thyroid to remove growths and is still hospitalized as of Sunday 11/28.

Lynn is 69 going on 70 May 2 and has been wheelchair and bedbound for the last 3-4 years due to born 2 months premature suffering cerebral palsy (doctor broke mothers water 2 months early because going on vacation), unsuccessful surgery around 2 years old on lengthening his heel cords to stop him from walking on his toes. His legs were stiffened and required leg braces and crutches to walk.
Then around 2005 he slipped and fell sliding under a van twisting his back and legs he was trying to get in - further weakening his legs. Next in ? 2017 or so he had a stroke which weakened him all around further. Despite all of that he was very sound mentally and was pretty healthy while treating properly his blood pressure and cholesterol levels with these medications:

In ? July - Dec 2020 he was exposed to covid19 by one of his Comforcare caregivers (Juve) getting a cold, some flu and runny nose – he was tested for covid19 showing negative. In January 2021 his Bloom Healthcare nurse practitioner Jessica Binns (and ? Doctor) told him he needs to get vaccinated so Comforcare caregivers could continue to take care of him 7 days a week 2 shifts a day – the am shift they give him a sponge bath in bed, change diaper, put clothes on, put him into his wheelchair using a lift and feed him breakfast. The pm shift feeds him dinner and takes him out of wheelchair with a lift putting him into bed. Family members alternate providing lunch, house cleaning and shopping.

Lynn was vaccinated with 1st shot of Pfizer 2/3/2021:
And 2nd shot about a month later in March. Initial side effects were red blotches on his face that went away a week or so later, his lower lip sagging causing drooling and when looking directly at you his eyeballs rolled slowly around in a few circles like he was disoriented for less than a minute.
Over next few months he lost even more strength in his hands and arms causing him to drop tv remote and his phone and spilling food down his chest when feeding himself. This caused Comforcare caregivers to start feeding him or prepare rolled up sandwiches he could eat like a hot dog or soups in a half filled mug that he could handle.
Note: Lynn does not tell us about some of his aches and pains because of a fear of going to hospital.
Everything really changed Sunday11/7 1230 am when he called Denise Cassino at 1230am very upset complaining of nightmares, confusion on where he was and more. Then he called Lance Cassino at 430am saying the same thing. Lynn and Lance called Bloom Healthcare requesting an appointment with nurse practitioner or doctor and an appointment was set for Friday 11/12 for examination and blood for testing.
Thursday 11/11/2021, Mary Lopez, head Comforcare caregiver, arrived for pm shift and determined that Lynn’s confusion and behavior was getting worse. After calling discussing with Lance Cassino they agreed and she called the medics to take him to Swedish ER.
Monday 11/14/2021 12-1230pm per meeting in Lynn’s room with 2nd assigned doctor – Dr. Jamshid Mirzaei and Lynn’s RN Halley – his initial findings is he has a pulmonary embolism from a blood clot in his lung, growths on his thyroid and very low oxygen in the 70’s. Discharge maybe delayed another day to get results of thyroid biopsy and to do a CT scan of Lynn head/chest and for a lump in his stomach. Case Managers Mary/Todd 303-815-4228 decide – not Dr. – when to discharge and where. During this ½ hour meeting with Dr. Mirzaeli, Lynn was in and out by minute being coherent and talking to non-present people not knowing what was going on except wanting to be discharged and go home to Boomer his dog.
